COMMERCIAL RENT DISTRAINT FOR LANDLORDS

If a commercial tenant has not paid its RENT you can be assured that there are are other creditors that have not been PAID. ie: Taxman/VAT-man/Non-Domestic Rates-Suppliers - That's why it is imperative for the landlord or his agent to instruct ‘CER’ immediately. One of our Certificated Bailiffs will attend the commercial premise, levy distress on the tenants goods thus securing the landlords position, our bailiff will either collect the rent and costs in full or give the tenant five days walking position. Once ‘CER’ has secured the debt we have, on behalf of the landlord, priority of goods/assets over the Taxman, voluntary liquidator, administrative receiver, and suppliers.
WE HAVE A 95% SUCCESS RATE IN RECOVERY OF UNPAID COMMERCIAL RENTS

The benefits of the process:

   •Immediate action on all instructions
   •No court order required
•Landlord kept fully informed of progress and action

Remember the Commercial Landlord has the common law right to instruct a Certificated Bailiff to Levy Distress for rent arrears or Forfeit the lease for breach of covenant.
